Questions drivers ask
Is this an insurance product?
No. Paid Per Load is a phone app built by Fast Trucking Insurance Quotes for owner-operators. Joining the list does not ask for a quote. Nobody will call you about insurance because you signed up.
Does the app send the bill to the broker for me?
No. The app builds the bill and opens your share sheet. You text it, email it, or attach it to the broker's form. You see every bill first. Nothing goes out without you.
Where does the detention rate come from?
If the rate con says the detention terms, the app uses those. If it does not, it uses the rate and free hours you set once in Setup. $75 an hour after 2 free hours is the suggested default. Most brokers pay $50 to $100 an hour.
Does it track me all day?
No. Location is used only while the app is open. Two points per stop, arrival and departure. No background tracking. It never reads ELD or hours of service data.
What if I run out of checks on the Starter plan?
You can move up to Driver any time in the app. Your ledger and history come with you. Or wait for next month. Detention clocks still work on every plan.
When does it launch and how do I pay?
